  • Description:

    Investigates violations of the Manteca Municipal Code and other State and Federal codes related to land use, building, business licensing and operation, health code, and various other non- criminal statutes.

    Code Enforcement enforces City of Manteca Municipal Code and other state and federal codes relating to the following:

    • Accumulation of junk, garbage and debris
    • Graffiti
    • Basketball hoops
    • Overweight vehicles parked on private property
    • Inoperable vehicles
    • Accessory structures
    • Building code violations (building, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical, etc.), including unpermitted building improvements
    • Vehicles parked on an unimproved surface
    • California State Housing law (minimum standards for safe and sanitary housing)
    • Lack of required utilities(water/power)
    • Overgrown trees, shrubs and property maintenance standards
    • Alarm Permits
    • Recreational vehicles and RV parking on private property
    • Other non-criminal codes outlined in the City of Manteca Municipal Code
