  • Description:

    Provides 24-hour mobile crisis response for qualifying calls. Stabilizes active mental health crises through crisis intervention, assessments, and safety planning as needed. Offers family psychoeducation and client coping and problem-solving strategies. If the crisis assessment meets criteria for involuntary psychiatric hold and hospitalization, Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT) can transport to higher care. Also available, Crisis Warm-Line for support.

    Program Delivery

    • Eligibility: Individuals experiencing an unsafe mental health situation and in need of crisis intervention within San Joaquin County
    • Languages: English and Spanish. Additional languages are provided via a translation service.
    • Application Process: Call to provide details about the situation for possible MCRT intervention. Also call the Crisis Warm-Line for support.
    • Program Fees: No fees for those uninsured. Accepts Medi-Cal and Private Insurance
    • Required Documents: Health insurance card to those insured. Mental Health Crisis Response Team (MCRT) will respond regardless of insurance coverage or plan.
