Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT)
Agency: SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES (BHS)
Provides a 24-hour mobile crisis response to qualifying mobile crisis calls.
Help stabilize an actively occurring mental health crisis through crisis intervention services, crisis assessments, and safety planning, as needed. Provides support and psychoeducation to family about how to assist their loved one and offers clients coping and problem-solving strategies.
If the crisis assessment signifies a client meets legal criteria for an involuntary psychiatric hold and psychiatric hospitalization, MCRT can transport the client to a higher level of care.
