CA vs Hate Resource Line

Agency: CALIFORNIA STATE CIVIL RIGHTS DEPARTMENT (CRD)

  • Description: Provides victims of crime support services for individuals throughout the State of California. Services include hate incidents or hate crimes reporting. There are no geographic restrictions.

    The agency establishes policies and approves programs, and monitors and reports on hate crimes.

    California law protects individuals based on race, color, ancestry, national origin, religion, primary language, citizenship, immigration status, mental disability, phycial disability, sex and gender (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender idetity, gender expression, medical conditions, genetic information, marital status, political affiliation, and position in a labor dispute.
