Family Urgent Response System (FURS)

    Provides a coordinated statewide, regional, and county-level support system as an alternative trauma-informed help for foster families. Helps preserve the relationship of foster child or youth and foster caregiver to prevent placement moves and promote healing as a family. Works to promote stability for youth in foster care, including youth in extended foster care and improve retention of current foster caregivers.

    Service includes:

    • 24/7 Trauma-informed Statewide Hotline and County Mobile Response System and Stabilization Teams
    • Personalized support and stabilization
    • Relevant aftercare support and follow-up
