Relief for Energy Assistance through Community Help (REACH)
Agency: COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP FOR FAMILIES OF SAN JOAQUIN (CPFSJ)
Provides one-time financial assistance during a crisis. Those who have experienced an uncontrollable or unforeseen hardship may receive an energy credit up to $300. Credit amount based on the past due amount of the bill.
Note: Past due bill must under $500 to be able to get assistance.
Intake provided by Community Partnership for Families of San Joaquin (CPSFJ). Funds administered by Dollar Energy. Energy credit support is subject to funding availability.

Program Delivery
- Eligibility: Customer must meet all criteria: *Customer must have a residential account with PG&E in the name of an adult living in the household. *Customer must not have received REACH assistance within the past 12 months. *Received a 15-day or a 48-hour disconnection notice or have been disconnected. *Outstanding balance must be at least $100, no more than $2000; $50 for seniors 62 and older. *Customer must Customer income must not exceed the REACH income guidelines, which are currently 200% percent above the federal poverty guidelines. Eligibility based on income and household size. Household Size / Total Combined Annual Income 1-2 people / $39,440 or less 3 people / $49,720 or less 4 people / $60,000 or less 5 people / $70,280 or less 6 people / $80,560 or less 7 people / $90,840 or less 8 people / $101,120 or less 9 people / $111,400 or less 10 people / $121,680 or less Each additional person, add $10,280 *Customer must demonstrate a hardship listed below with the last 4 months: -Funeral travel expense or funeral cost -Loss of child support, employment, or loss of income due to illness -Medical travel expense or medical cost -Prescription expense or got injured -Cost of home repair -Identify theft -Unplanned custody of a child
