  • Description: Provides an alternative residential educational program for High School dropouts to help catch up on their High School credits or earn their High School Diploma. Includes 22-week residential program followed by a 12-month post-residential program. Partnerships with California National Guard.

    Once accepted into the program, students are introduced to the military structure, participate in team-building activities, practice making healthy choices, attend school daily, gain organizational and study skills, participate in a wide range of extra-curricular activities, and receive the support to turn their lives around. Students can earn 60 high school credits.

    Program Delivery

    • Eligibility: Must meet all criteria to be a student:
      *Must be between 16-18 years of age
      *Legal resident of the US and California
      *At-risk of dropping out of high school or not enough school credits
      *Free of all felony charges and no pending court proceedings

      To be a Mentor:
      *Must be 25 years of age or older
      *Employed, in school, or retired
      *Have a valid Driver License and Insurance
      *Pass background check
