  • Description: Provides an in-home safety assessment and services.

    Service includes:
    • Safe at Home program - Provides free grab bars, additional night lighting for dark areas, rails and threshold ramps.
    • Comfort at Home - Free one-time handyman projects completed by volunteer handymen for a project to prevent falls or injury.
    • Durable Medical Equipment Project - Free gently used Durable Medical Equipment (some equipment no covered by insurance i.e. walkers and wheelchairs)
    • Flags to mount on scooters are provided as visual aids for drivers to see the member.

  • Hours: Organization runs by volunteers, work out of their homes, therefore no set hours. Phone is answered as much as possible; voicemail is available, and calls are returned.
