    Provides employment advocacy services to individuals who are deaf or hear of hearing. Paves the way for those seeking preparation and skill building for employment.

    Services include:

    • Assess - Review work history, current job interests, challenges, and support need.
    • Train - One-to-one and group meetings: literacy for computers and mobile devices, driving test prep, social boundaries and differing perspectives, and self-advocacy skills.
    • Support - Assists with job search and application, interviews, personality test, and guide to public transportation to work.
    • Access - ALS interpreting for jobs interviews and new hire orientation or training. Job coach supports for work communication skills, performance, punctuality, habits, and attitudes.

  • Hours: Mon: 8:30am - 5pm; Tue: 8:30am - 5pm; Wed: 8:30am - 5pm; Thu: 8:30am - 5pm; Fri: 8:30am - 5pm; - (Office closed Mon-Fri 12noon-1pm and on New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr's Birthday, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.)

    Program Delivery
