Home Visitation Initiative

  • Description:

    Provides a 12 month school readiness home visitation program to families with children from birth to age 3. Families receive tools to assist with their child's healthy development and encourage healthy attachments. Services provided by Parent Educators.

    Service includes:

    • Parents As Teachers (PAT) curriculum
    • Raising A Reader Family Literacy Program
    • Child Developmental Screenings (ASQs)
    • Health Insurance Screenings
    • California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids (CalWORKs), CalFresh (Food Stamps), Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) and free or reduced meal service screening and referral.

  • Hours: Mon: 8am - 5pm; Tue: 8am - 5pm; Wed: 8am - 5pm; Thu: 8am - 5pm; Fri: 8am - 5pm; - (Office is closed on New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr's Birthday, President's Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day and day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve.)
