Home Visitation Initiative
Agency: CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION COUNCIL OF SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY
Provides a 12 month school readiness home visitation program to families with children from birth to age 3. Families receive tools to assist with their child's healthy development and encourage healthy attachments. Services provided by Parent Educators.
Service includes:
- Parents As Teachers (PAT) curriculum
- Raising A Reader Family Literacy Program
- Child Developmental Screenings (ASQs)
- Health Insurance Screenings
- California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids (CalWORKs), CalFresh (Food Stamps), Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) and free or reduced meal service screening and referral.

- Monthly parent workshops
