IMPACT Program

  • Description: Helps pay for prostate cancer treatment including:
    • Brachytherapy
    • Chemotherapy
    • External Beam Radiation Therapy
    • Hormone Therapy
    • Radical Prostatectomy
    • Watchful Waiting
    Also provides prostate cancer treatment for an initial 12 months, short-term individual counseling and short-term joint counseling with spouse, support groups, and finding a doctor or hospital to receive treatment.

    • Eligibility: Must meet criteria: *18 years old or older *Diagnosis of prostate cancer *Low income - Currently at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level *No medical insurance and do not qualify for Medicare or Medi-Cal *California residents
