Suicide Prevention Program

Agency: CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION COUNCIL OF SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY

  • Description: Provides suicide prevention services on various campuses within SJ county to assist students, school staff, parents, and the community in identifying and referring students who are at risk of self-harming and suicidal behaviors.

    The program is designed to spread mental health awareness and education through the Yellow Ribbon campaign, workshops, groups, and case management.

    Services include:
    • Suicide Prevention, Awareness, and Ideation
    • Depression Screening
    • Anxiety
    • Self-injurious Behaviors
    • Group Therapy
    • Referrals for Individual Therapy
