Suicide Prevention Program

Agency: CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION COUNCIL OF SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY

  • Description: Provides suicide prevention services on various campuses within SJ county to assist students, school staff, parents, and the community in identifying and referring students who are at risk of self-harming and suicidal behaviors.

    The program is designed to spread mental health awareness and education through the Yellow Ribbon campaign, workshops, groups, and case management.

    Services include:
    • Suicide Prevention, Awareness, and Ideation
    • Depression Screening
    • Anxiety
    • Self-injurious Behaviors
    • Group Therapy
    • Referrals for Individual Therapy

  • Hours: Mon: 8am - 5pm; Tue: 8am - 5pm; Wed: 8am - 5pm; Thu: 8am - 5pm; Fri: 8am - 5pm; - (Office is closed on New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr's Birthday, President's Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day and day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve Helpline is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week)
