  • Description: Provides a safe disposal of household hazardous waste for San Joaquin County residents. Residents can drop a limit of 15 gallons or 125 pounds of hazardous waste and five large electronic devices at the facility per trip. Can report hazardous storm drain dumping.

    Accepts the following items: 
    • Household Cleaners: Abrasive Cleaners, Ammonia-based Cleaners, Bleach-based Cleaners, Chlorine Bleach, Disinfectants, Drain Openers, Glass Cleaners, Oven Cleaners, Scouring Powder, Spot Removers, Toilet Bowl Cleaners, Upholstery and Rug Cleaners, and Other Chemicals.
    • Other Household Products: Aerosol Spray Cans, Floor Polish, Furniture Polish, Mercury Devices, Medications, Mothballs, Nail Polish and Remover, Propane Tanks (5gallon max), Silver Polish, Sharps (lancets, blood test items), Syringes, Thermometers.
    • Pesticides and Garden Products: Chemical Fertilizers, Flea Collars (Sprays and Bombs), Fungicides and Pesticides, Herbicide and Weed Killers, Insecticide and Bug Killers, Rodent Poisons, Snail and Slug Poisons.
    • Pool and Hobby Products: Artist and Model Paints, Solvents, Photographic Chemicals, Pool Chemicals including Disinfectants and PH Balancing Chemicals, Solvent-Based and Epoxy Glues.
    • Automotive Products: Antifreeze, Auto and Motorcycle Batteries, Auto Paint and Primer, Cas Waxes and Polishes, Engine Cleaner and Degreaser, Gasoline and Diesel Fuel, Kerosene, Motor Oil, Solvents and Acids, Transmission Fluid, Other Automotive Fluids.
    • Paint Products: Enamel and Oil-based Paint, Furniture Stripper, Latex and Water-based Paint, Paint Stripper, Rust Paint, Sealers, Stain, Thinner, Solvent and Turpentine, Varnish, Wood Preservative.
    • Common Hazardous Items or Products: Batters-Single Use, Rechargeable, Sealed Lead Acid, Automotive; Fluorescent Lights and Bulbs; Mercury Devices-Mercury thermometers, Mercury Thermostats, Other Devices Containing Mercury; Consumer Electronic Devics (e-waste)-Tablet, Cellular Phones, Computers and Cables, Computer Monitors, Printers, Radios and Stereos, Telephones, Televisions, VCR/DVD Players, Other Small Consumer Electronics.
    Household Hazardous Waste Reuse Program - Offers new to partially used products free of charge. Items typically include usable paint, solvents, plant fertilizers, pesticides, cleaners, pool supplies and much more.
