  • Description:

    Offers curb-to-curb service to residents within the City of Tracy who are unable to perform the skills necessary to use Tracer Fixed Route Service due to their disability or age.

    Provides discount taxi fare for registered paratransit rider with Yellow Cab of Tracy.  Service is available during non-operating hours for the Paratransit service.  Taxi tickets are sold at a rate of $10 for a ticket valued at $20 in regular fares.

    Program Delivery

    • Eligibility: Must be ADA/Medicare certified or 65 years of age or older

      To become eligible to use any ADA transportation service, client must complete an application for ADA eligibility certification.

      Have Licensed Medical or Mental Health Professional Verification form complete.

      Residents who are unable to use the regular public bus service for one or more of the following reasons:

      Client is unable to board, ride, or disembark from an accessible transit vehicle and/or client's disability or condition prevents them from traveling to or from a bus stop

      Mail completed applications to Transportation Coordinator using the contact information on the form.

    • Application Process: Be at bus stop Complete and mail in How to become certified on Tracer Paratransit, ADA Paratransit/Dial-A-Ride Certification Application, and Personal Care Attendant Information Form. Mail in Licensed Medical or Mental Health Professional Verification Form to be complete by an authorized Human Service Agency.
