    A passport is an internationally recognized travel document that verifies the identity and nationality of the bearer. 

    A valid U.S. passport is required to enter and leave most foreign countries. Only the U.S. Department of State has the authority to grant, issue or verify United States passports.

    Program Delivery

    • Eligibility: Apply Adult Passport: -First-time adult applicants age 18 and older Apply 16-17 Year Old Passport: -Must apply in person on Form DS-11 for your first adult passport. -Must show one parent or legal guardian is aware you are applying. -Passports for applicants 16 and older are valid for 10 years Apply Child Under 16 Passport: -Both parents or guardians must give their approval for a child to receive a passport and must be present with the child when applying. -If one or both parents or guardians cannot be present with the child, you will need to show us more documents. -Cannot renew a child's passport using Form DS-82. -Passports for children under age 16 are valid for 5 years.
