California Telephone Access Program (CTAP)

  • Description: Provides specialized phones and equipment to individuals certified as having difficulty using the telephone. CTAP is a California State mandated program, under governance of the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) Deaf and Disabled Telecommunications Program (DDTP). Equipment and some network services are available at no charge to eligible consumers.

    Phones that amplified, with big buttons, are portable, or captioned, and mobile accessories and speech assist equipment are provided.
