    Provides information and assistance to employees, employers, labor unions, insurance carriers, physicians, attorneys and other interested parties concerning rights, benefits and obligations under California's workers' compensation laws

    The unit plays a major role in reducing litigation before the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB) and is often the first DWC contact for injured workers.

  • Hours: Mon: 8am - 4pm; Tue: 8am - 4pm; Wed: 8am - 4pm; Thu: 8am - 4pm; Fri: 8am - 4pm; - (Office Closed Monday-Friday 11am-1pm Court is in session Monday-Friday 8:30am-12noon and 1:30pm-5pm Injured worker workshop held on Zoom at 3pm on the first Friday of each month or English and 3rd Friday of each month for Spanish Office closed on New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr's Birthday, President's Day, Cesar Chavez Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after, and Christmas Day.)
