Migrant Preschool Program

  • Description: Offers subsidized state and federal child care and preschool services to families in the agriculture business.  Program runs during the months of April or May through September or October.  Winter Program runs from October through December.

    Program Delivery

    • Eligibility: Parents must be low income, performing agriculture-based work, and have experienced a migrant move within the past two years. Children must be between 6 weeks of age up to kindergarten entry
    • Languages: Spanish, English
    • Application Process: Call for telephone intake, walk-in, or call to schedule an appointment

    • Required Documents: Proof of agriculture-based work (if applicable), verification of income, and proof of need. Birth certificate, updated immunization records, recent physical exam report, and TB risk assessments for the children
