  • Hours: Mon: 8am - 5pm; Tue: 8am - 5pm; Wed: 8am - 5pm; Thu: 8am - 5pm; Fri: 8am - 5pm; - (Hotline is available to report suspected child abuse and/or child neglect Mon-Sun 24 hours. Office is closed on New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr's Birthday, Washington's Birthday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after, and Christmas Day)

    Program Delivery

    • Eligibility: Open to all who suspects child abuse or neglects. Child must live in or be present in San Joaquin County.
    • Languages: English and Spanish. Additional languages are provided via a translation service.
    • Application Process: *If you believe that a child is being abused or neglected by their mother, father, caretaker or a member of their household call CPS. *If you believe that a child is being abused or neglected by someone other than their parent, caretaker or household member call law enforcement.
    • Program Fees: No fees
    • Required Documents: Will need to provide a name or address for the family, or the current location of the child you feel has been abused or neglected so that they can be located
