  • Description: Provides assistance in making homes more energy efficient to reduce energy usage and costs.

    Assistance includes, but are not limited to:
    • Repair or replacement of refrigerator, microwave, and stoves
    • Repair or replacement of heating/air conditioning
    • Ceiling/Floor insulation
    • Repair or replacement of water heater
    • Repair or replacement of door
    • Repair or replacement of windows (glass only)
    • Free digital thermostats, weatherstrips, LED light bulbs, shade screens, smoke & carbon monoxide detectors.

  • Hours: Mon: 9am - 4pm; Tue: 9am - 4pm; Wed: 9am - 4pm; Thu: 9am - 4pm; Fri: 9am - 4pm; - (Phone line closed Mon-Fri 12noon-1pm. Website accessible Mon-Sun 24 hours. Office is closed on New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr's Birthday, Washington's Birthday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after, and Christmas Day.)

    Program Delivery

    • Eligibility: Applicants must be legal residents, meet income guidelines, and be named on the energy bill.
    • Languages: English and Spanish. Additional languages are provided via a translation service.
    • Application Process: Call to request an application by mail, pick up application at HSA office, or visit website to download application
    • Program Fees: No fees
    • Required Documents: Complete Intake application, provide energy bill, provide income verification for all household members, and proof of legal residency
