Home Weatherization Assistance Program

  • Description: Provides assistance in making homes more energy efficient to reduce energy usage and costs.

    Assistance includes, but are not limited to:
    • Repair or replacement of refrigerator, microwave, and stoves
    • Repair or replacement of heating/air conditioning
    • Ceiling/Floor insulation
    • Repair or replacement of water heater
    • Repair or replacement of door
    • Repair or replacement of windows (glass only)
    • Free digital thermostats, weatherstrips, LED light bulbs, shade screens, smoke & carbon monoxide detectors.

    Program Delivery

    • Eligibility: Applicants must be legal residents, meet income guidelines, and be named on the energy bill.
    • Languages: English and Spanish. Additional languages are provided via a translation service.
    • Application Process: Call to request an application by mail, pick up application at HSA office, or visit website to download application
    • Program Fees: No fees
    • Required Documents: Complete Intake application, provide energy bill, provide income verification for all household members, and proof of legal residency
