Please call 211 to schedule an appointment ahead of time unless the site has walk-in availability.

Public Safety Power Shutoffs

Call 211 for local support before, during, and after an emergency, such as a Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS). Those using relay services can call 1-800-402-4018. You can also text “PSPS” to 211-211.

PG&E provides support to our seniors and those who are identified as access & functional needs vulnerable residents when a Public Safety Power Shutoff event occurs to prevent wildfires or when power is not available during disaster events.

Callers are referred by 211 to resources including PG&E Medical Baseline, medical equipment or assisted technology, medical transportation programs, and battery or generator programs to get prepared for a PSPS event.
